Power Chords / Play Your Music

Almost ten years ago, scientists discovered The Wave. A series of frequencies that played music from another dimension. Through a process called Tuning, individuals could find a frequency that reacted to their emotions, and intentions. Once found, an individual could listen to that frequency to enhance their abilities. Those who use these abilities for good or evil are referred to as Conductors.

Power Chords is a tabletop role playing game for 2-5 people about saving the world with Diegetic Sound. The below document is a playtest and a WIP.

Power Chords is a hack of D Vincent Baker's Apocalypse World framework and the playtest assumes a knowledge of the system. Future updates will include instructions on playing with the PBtA framework.

Play Your Music is a supplement for Powered by the Apocalypse TTRPGs that introduces mechanics for playing character theme music that grants your character bonuses in play.
